**Georgia’s President Questions US Priorities**
The fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has expressed concerns about the United States’ priorities. She made these comments on her social media page.
President Zurabishvili seemed to be referring to a meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the leaders of the US and Ukraine respectively. In her post, she noted that it’s essential for the US and Europe to work together strongly during difficult times. However, it appears that the opposite is happening.
The President made a pointed comment about the meeting between Mr. Trump and Mr. Zelenskyy. She said that those who want to be seen as peacemakers should remember one thing: never humiliate your counterpart. This was advice she received from an experienced colleague during her early years in diplomacy.
President Zurabishvili also addressed Mr. Zelenskyy directly, saying that he and his country understand the importance of defending their territory, independence, and freedom. She suggested that those who face similar challenges should be siding with him instead of others.
