**Georgian Dream’s Control Over Media and Information**
Lasha Tughushi, the chairman of the Liberal Academy, spoke out against Georgian Dream’s legislative changes. He believes that these changes are a way for the party to gain more control over media and information.
Tughushi thinks that Georgian Dream is trying to suffocate everything that is not dependent on them. “Do you believe in their objectivity?” he asked. “Of course not.” He says that the party will never make decisions against their own interests.
**Copy-Paste Laws**
Tughushi criticized Georgian Dream for copying laws from other countries without changing them. “Would any self-respecting political force openly admit that they copied another country’s law in its entirety?” he asked. He thinks this is a farce and that the party is trying to deceive people.
**U.S. President and Congress Involved?**
Tughushi also questioned why the U.S. president and Congress are involved in these legislative changes. “What kind of game are they playing?” he asked. He believes that Georgian Dream is using these mechanisms to gain more control over everything beyond their influence.
**Strengthening Control**
Tughushi stated that Georgian Dream’s goal is to strengthen its control over media and information. They want to cut off Western resources and make the media dependent on their political and party interests. “They lie so much, and they never stop,” he said.
