**Ukraine’s President Rejects US Aid Deal**

**US Aid Not a Debt**
President Zelensky said, “I am not signing something that will be paid by 10 generations of Ukrainians.” He wants the US to provide security guarantees as part of any deal. However, these guarantees have not been included in any proposal so far.
The White House initially wanted a 50% share of Ukraine’s natural resources. President Zelensky rejected this proposal, saying that Ukraine needs more information before making such a decision.
**US Pressure on Ukraine**
Ukraine has had discussions with the US for nearly two weeks. The country will continue to negotiate with the US on February 24. However, President Zelensky is firm in his stance against any deal that would burden future generations of Ukrainians.
