**Georgian Government Prevented Conflict**
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, spoke to journalists about recent events in the country. He said that some groups tried to cause trouble and repeat a past conflict.
In 1921, Georgia was involved in a war with Russia. Kobakhidze is saying that these same issues could have happened again recently, but the government prevented it.
Kobakhidze praised his own government for keeping the peace. He said that some groups tried to start another front of fighting and even worked with radical opposition leaders. But the Georgian government was able to stop this from happening.
