**Protesters Clash with Police in Kraljevo**
A protest turned violent on Wednesday outside the city hall in Kraljevo. Protesters tried to enter the building, but were met by a police cordon.
The crowd got into a shoving match with the police before things escalated. According to an N1 reporter, eggs were thrown at the police and at least one flare was hurled.
The protesters had gathered in front of city hall following a call from opposition council members. They were also calling for the resignation of Mayor Predrag Terzic.
A Gendarmerie unit in riot gear was deployed to try and calm the situation, but it’s unclear if that worked.
