Violence at Georgian Airport
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, was attacked with eggs when she returned from a trip to Munich. This happened at Tbilisi International Airport.
The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Germany, Michael Roth, was shocked by this incident. He said it’s not clear what is happening in Georgia right now.
Roth also blamed the government of Georgia for allowing this kind of violence and hatred towards democrats and freedom fighters. He wished President Zurabishvili well in a message on social media.
The video of the egg-throwing was shared online, showing eggs being thrown at President Zurabishvili at the airport.
