**The EU is Becoming Like the Soviet Union**
Dimitri Khundadze, a member of the People’s Power party in Georgia, has compared the European Union to the Soviet Union. He said that both are as bad for democracy as the United National Movement (UNM) is for Georgia.

**Lessons from Ukraine**
Khundadze drew parallels between Georgia’s situation and that of Ukraine, which has been embroiled in a bloody war with Russia. He said that Ukraine fell for promises of EU membership, NATO membership, and aid, but ultimately lost territories, people, and money.
Khundadze warned that Georgia must avoid making the same mistakes as Ukraine. He believes that telling the truth about these risks is essential to preventing such a fate.
