Two Children Die in Batumi Construction Site Accident
A tragic accident occurred in the city of Batumi, where two children lost their lives. The incident took place in a residential area known as the “Dream City”.
Local government officials arrived at the scene, but they had a verbal confrontation with residents. The local government said that there was no construction happening in the area, and an investigation is underway.
“The people are facing a tragedy, and I came to stand by them,” said Irakli Tavdgiridze, Chairman of the Batumi City Council. “The investigation will determine what happened. The trenches are separate from the construction site, and construction work has not yet started.”
