Giorgi Gakharia, the French Minister of European Affairs, met with Giorgi to discuss the current political crisis in Georgia as well as the country’s European future.  

Giorgi Gakharia Met French Minister in Munich

The leader of “Gakharia for Georgia,” Giorgi Gakharia, met with the French Minister for European Affairs, Benjamin Haddad. They met in Munich.

Gakharia wrote on social media that they talked about the ongoing crisis in Georgia and its future in Europe.

Gakharia said President Macron’s leadership has helped the EU focus on Georgia. He thanked Macron for his support for democracy in Georgia.

Now, Gakharia wants action to be taken to help Georgia. This includes releasing political prisoners, holding new elections, and keeping the region safe from Russia’s influence.
