Serbian President’s Next Move on Vojvodina Declaration
The Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, said that the country will soon have a new document called the Declaration on Vojvodina. He made this announcement at a news conference in Banja Luka.
On Saturday, the document will be adopted by popular vote at an event celebrating Serbian Statehood Day in Sremska Mitrovica. This means that people will gather and show their support for the declaration.
After it is adopted, Vucic said that his party, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), and its coalition partners, the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM), will start talking about how to get the document approved by parliament.
