The chairperson of Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association stated that Mzia’s position was that she did not intend to end the hunger strike, and she did not wish to be granted any kind of privileges because of the hunger strike. She demands to be sent back to prison  

Mzia Amaghlobeli Refuses to End Hunger Strike

The chairperson of the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA) has spoken about Mzia Amaghlobeli’s situation. She is on a hunger strike.

According to GYLA, Mzia does not want to stop her hunger strike and does not want any special treatment because of it. Her main demand remains the same: she wants to be sent back to prison.

GYLA supports Mzia in her struggle for justice. They will continue to follow her situation closely.
