Coalition Leader Talks About Meeting with President
Nika Gvaramia, leader of the “Coalition for Change,” spoke about her meeting with Georgia’s president, Salome Zurabishvili. She said that it was good to have such meetings again.
Gvaramia emphasized that the goal of these meetings should be to have productive and fast discussions, not just make speeches. She wants answers on how the country is moving towards elections and what they should look like.
Coalition Leader Plans to Attend European Parliament Session
Gvaramia also talked about her plans to attend a session in Strasbourg with other coalition members. They will take proposals and lists of people who should be sanctioned, including those who abuse their power as judges or prosecutors.
She mentioned that there will be large-scale protests in the country and encouraged politicians to ensure that protesters feel hopeful about their leaders. Gvaramia also emphasized that citizens must stand at these protests.
