**Germany Investigates Spy Drones Over Military Base**
The German military is looking into a potential spy scandal. Unidentified drones were spotted six times in January flying over a sensitive military base where Ukrainians are being trained.
The drones were not forced to land, despite the use of special devices that jam signals. This happened at the Schwesing base, located by the North Sea. The base is used to train both German and Ukrainian soldiers on advanced air defense systems called Patriots.
**Russia Suspected**
Germany thinks Russia might be behind the drone flights. These drones have been seen before over military bases where Ukrainians are being trained. Advanced air defense systems like Patriots have helped protect Ukraine from missile and drone attacks, which have increased in recent months.
**Previous Cases**
This is not the first time there have been reports of drones spying on German military bases. Similar incidents were reported last year. In December, Germany charged three people with espionage for Russia after they took photos and explored potential targets in Germany.
