**Georgia Reacts to Russia’s Airport Takeover**

The government of Georgia is unhappy with the country’s Western partners. This is because they have not reacted strongly enough to Russia’s takeover of a key airport in Abkhazia.

Russia took control of the Sokhumi airport, which is located in the breakaway region of Abkhazia, without permission from Georgia. The country’s government says this was an illegal move. But so far, there has been no strong reaction from Western countries that are close to Georgia.

The leader of the opposition, Gakharia, is speaking out against the government’s silence on this issue. He wants Western partners to take a stronger stand against Russia’s actions in Abkharia.
