**German Ambassador Warns Georgia**
The German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, has made a serious warning about the country’s future. He says that if Georgia continues on its current path, it risks losing its chance to join the European Union and also hurting its relations with Germany.
Fischer wrote this on his social media page. He said he was speaking honestly because of his respect and friendship for Georgia. For 39 years, Fischer worked for the German government, taking instructions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He stressed that he does not take orders from any imaginary “deep state”.
The warning comes after families of detainees in Georgia shared their concerns with Fischer. His comments highlight the importance of addressing these issues to maintain good relations with other countries and achieve its goals.
