**Opposition Leader Criticizes Remaining Party**
Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the “Strong Georgia” party, has made a statement on social media. He said that if a political party stays in the current Parliament, it is part of Bidzina Ivanishvili’s “Russian project.”
Khazaradze wrote this on Facebook: “Are you staying in Parliament?! Then you are Bidzina’s Russian project!”
Recently, 49 MPs from three parties – “Unity – National Movement,” “Coalition for Change,” and “Strong Georgia” – had their parliamentary mandates taken away. This happened because they themselves asked to end their time in Parliament.
These parties do not believe the October 26 elections were fair. They also do not take part in the work of the current Parliament. However, another opposition party called “For Georgia” still has 12 seats. Its leader is Giorgi Gakharia. This party also does not think the recent elections were valid, but they have not asked to leave Parliament.
