**Medical Students Get Support from Serbian Medical Society**
A group of medical students in Serbia have received backing from the country’s top medical organization. The Assembly of the Serbian Medical Society (SLD) voted to support the demands of the students on Thursday.
75 out of 76 SLD members supported the students, with one member abstaining. The students gathered outside the SLD building before the vote to show their support for the assembly members.
**What Do the Students Want?**
The medical students are asking for help from the SLD in a number of areas. They have not specified exactly what they want, but it is believed that they are seeking better working conditions and more funding for their studies.
**Students Express Support for SLD Members**
The medical students said they came to express support for the SLD members who were voting on their demands. They also handed out an open letter signed by medical students from all four medical schools in Serbia, asking for the SLD’s support.
