Two People Charged with Human Trafficking in Georgia
The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia has charged two individuals for human trafficking. They are accused of exploiting a person who is mentally and physically disabled.
According to the investigation, the accused lured the victim into sexual exploitation. The perpetrators then took money from the exploitation.
Both defendants face up to 15 years in prison. A court has already ordered them to be held in pretrial detention while the case continues.
The Prosecutor’s Office says the investigation is ongoing and will try to prove the charges against the two individuals.
