**Opposition MPs Lose Mandates**
Forty-nine opposition members of parliament have lost their seats. This decision was made by the majority in parliament.
These opposition MPs asked to leave parliament themselves, last year. The parliament agreed and took away their powers.
The ruling party’s 12 members are still in parliament. They do not take part in parliamentary activities and say that the recent elections were not fair.
**Election Results**
According to the election results, Strong Georgia won 14 seats, the Coalition for Change got 19, and Unity-National Movement got 16.
The number of MPs has now dropped from 150 to 101.
