**Council of Europe Sends Observer Mission to Kosovo Elections**
The Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) is sending a team to observe the parliamentary elections in Kosovo. This was announced on Monday.
Eighteen members from PACE will travel to Kosovo from February 7-10 to watch the elections on February 9. They will meet with leaders and representatives from major political parties, election officials, and others before the vote.
The observers will also talk to media and civil society groups. A representative from the Venice Commission will help guide the observation team with legal advice.
