US Embassy Denies Leader’s Claims
The US Embassy in Georgia has reacted to comments made by Mamuka Mdinaradze, leader of the country’s parliamentary majority. The embassy says Mdinaradze’s statements are false.
According to a statement from the embassy, Mdinaradze does not understand what the US Embassy does. The embassy supports the US government’s priorities, which include making America safer and more prosperous.
The embassy is unhappy with Mdinaradze’s comments. It says they do not show an understanding of how the embassy works.
