**Parliament to Make Changes to Laws**
The Georgian Parliament will quickly consider and approve changes to eight laws. These changes are proposed by the government party, called Georgian Dream.
**What Are the Changes?**
The changes will affect how people hold assemblies and demonstrations. They will also make some things more serious crimes than they were before. The draft changes have been sent to committees for review. After that, they will be presented to the Parliament for a vote.
**Who Proposed These Changes?**
Seven politicians from Georgian Dream proposed these changes. Their names are Archil Gorduladze, Tornike Cheishvili, Davit Matikashvili, Tengiz Sharmanashvili, Guram Macharashvili, Aleksandre Tabatadze, and Rati Ionatamishvili.
**What Exactly Will Change?**
The changes will make it harder for people to hold rallies in private buildings without the owner’s permission. The fines for some minor crimes like being rude or damaging property will increase. If someone insults a politician or public servant, they could get in trouble too. Also, if someone hurts a police officer, they might go to jail for a longer time.
**More Serious Crimes**
The changes will make it clearer that people who incite violence can be sent to prison for up to three years. People who attack police officers or government officials will face even harsher punishments if they do it in groups or with dangerous means.
