**Russia’s Heavy Losses in Ukraine**
Russia has lost a huge number of troops, equipment, and vehicles since starting its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ report, Russia has suffered over 839,000 troop casualties.
The losses are staggering. Just in one day, Russian forces lost 1,430 soldiers. The report also shows that Russia’s military equipment is being destroyed at an alarming rate. In addition to troop losses, Russia has lost thousands of tanks, armored vehicles, trucks, and artillery systems.
