**Students March to Novi Sad in Protest**

A group of students from Belgrade arrived in Novi Sad on Friday evening. They had been marching for two days, covering 80 kilometers.

The students are protesting against the collapse of a concrete canopy at Novi Sad’s main train station three months ago. The accident killed 15 people. The protest will continue with a planned blockade of the city’s three Danube bridges on Saturday.

Locals warmly greeted the students along their journey to Novi Sad. In one town, they were even treated to fireworks and dinner. On Friday, more students from Belgrade joined the march by cycling to meet them.

The students arrived in Novi Sad and were welcomed by thousands of local students and residents. They exchanged flags as a symbol of unity between the two cities’ universities. Then, they made their way to the main train station for a silent moment to remember those who died.
