Doctors Attacked in Belgrade Protest
Two doctors were hurt when a car drove into a group of people protesting in Belgrade. The incident happened on Friday.
The car was trying to get through a gathering of people, but it crashed into the doctors instead. They were standing near a hospital in the city center.
The driver tried to keep going, but stopped just before reaching other cars that had stopped for a tribute to those who died in a tragedy at the Novi Sad Railway Station.
A video showed two young men inside the car. The car’s license plates said it was from Smederevo, a city in Serbia.
The police are now investigating what happened.
