**Georgian Prime Minister Visits Armenia**
On January 30, Georgian Dream Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze visited Armenia. He was accompanied by a delegation of top government officials.
**Meeting with Armenian PM**
Kobakhidze met with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. They discussed the “strategic importance” of relations between the two countries. Both parties agreed that high-level dialogue and close cooperation are crucial for deepening bilateral ties.
**Economic Cooperation**
The Georgian-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation met under the chairmanship of the Prime Ministers of both countries. The commission discussed topics to be covered in its 14th session, aiming to expand trade and economic ties between the two countries.
**Foreign Ministers Meet**
Georgian Foreign Affairs Minister Maka Botchorishvili met with Armenian Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. They reaffirmed their “deep-rooted friendship” and emphasized the significance of the Georgia-Armenia Strategic Partnership Declaration.
**President Reacts**
Following the visit, President Salome Zurabishvili reacted on social media, stating that the true partnership between Georgia and Armenia is walking hand in hand on their European path. She said it’s a common strategy to reach peace, democracy, and prosperity for both countries.
