NGO Representatives Show Support for Mzia Amaghlobeli

Representatives of non-governmental organizations gathered in Strasbourg to show their support for Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of “Batumelebi” and “Netgazeti.”

They held protest banners that read “Freedom for Mzia Amaghlobeli” and “Freedom for Political Prisoners in Georgia.”

NGO leaders from Georgia attended the event. They included Nona Kurdovanidze, Chairperson of the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association; Nino Dolidze, Chairperson of the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy; Giorgi Kandelaki, representative of the Soviet Past Research Laboratory; Giorgi Burjanadze, member of the Civil Society Foundation; Giorgi Oniani, member of Transparency International Georgia; and Ucha Nanuashvili, Director of the Center for Democracy Studies.
