Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine: Latest Casualty Numbers
The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces has released new information about the losses suffered by Russian troops in Ukraine. As of January 25, Russia has lost a total of 830,190 troops since its full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022.
In just one day, Russian forces have experienced an additional 1,720 casualties. This brings the total number of soldiers killed or injured to over 831,000.
The report also details significant losses in military equipment, including:

* 20,549 armored fighting vehicles
* 35,124 vehicles and fuel tanks
* 22,323 artillery systems
* 1,263 multiple launch rocket systems
* 1,050 air defense systems
* 369 airplanes
* 331 helicopters
* 23,253 drones
* 28 ships and boats
* 1 submarine
These numbers highlight the significant scale of Russia’s losses in Ukraine.
