US Congressman Joe Wilson is pleased that French President Emmanuel Macron hosted Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili. He thinks this shows that France and the US are standing with the people of Georgia.
In a tweet, he said: “France and America stand with the Georgian people.” He also said that free and fair elections are the only way forward for Georgia.
Wilson made these comments after President Zourabichvili attended the inauguration of US President Donald Trump.
