**Prime Minister Says “Canvas Revolution” Will Not Work in Georgia**

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has spoken out against a group of actors and directors who are trying to organize a revolution. This group is calling itself the “canvas revolution”.

Kobakhidze said that this movement will not succeed because it is made up of people from the so-called creative sphere. He pointed out that there have been four attempts at revolution in Georgia over the past few years, and none of them worked.

These attempts included groups trying to organize revolutions through parties, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and journalists. Kobakhidze said that all these efforts failed, and now it’s the turn of the “canvas” group to try and fail as well.

**Opposition Lacks People’s Support**

Kobakhidze also spoke about the opposition in Georgia. He said that they do not have the support of the people, which is why they cannot achieve their goals.

The Prime Minister called on the opposition to focus on this year’s local elections and try their luck there instead of trying to organize a revolution. He reminded them that elections are scheduled for October 2028, so it’s best to prepare for those now.

**Opposition is Discredited**

Kobakhidze said that the opposition has become discredited because they do not have the support of the people. They try to organize rallies and protests, but their leaders fail to appear at these events.

The Prime Minister pointed out that this is because the radical opposition does not have the trust or support of the people. He urged them to focus on their own profession and let others carry out theirs.
