**Activist Goes on Hunger Strike**
Revaz Kiknadze, a Georgian activist arrested for group violence, has started a hunger strike. His lawyer, Guja Avsajanishvili, announced this on Facebook.
Kiknadze was detained as a preventive measure in a case of organizing and participating in violent groups. He is being held before his trial.
**Solidarity with Mzia Amaghlobeli**
Kiknadze’s hunger strike is in support of Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of online media “Batumelebi” and “Netgazet”. She has been on a hunger strike for two days. Amaghlobeli was arrested on January 11 for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
The Batumi City Court put her under pre-trial detention as a preventive measure in her case.
