**Ukrainian President Meets with World Leaders in Davos**

On January 22, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met separately with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Argentine President Javier Milei on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Zelensky is leading a Ukrainian delegation at the forum, which runs from January 20 to 24. His agenda includes talks with world leaders and meetings with top business officials.

**Security Guarantees and EU Membership**

The meeting with Vucic focused on security guarantees and the two countries’ path to membership in the European Union. According to the Presidential Office, Zelensky stressed that “sustainable peace must be supported by strong security guarantees.”

Vucic has previously expressed support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, including affirming that Crimea and Donbas are sovereign Ukrainian territories.

**Argentina and Economic Cooperation**

During his meeting with Milei, Zelensky touched on matters of economic cooperation, recent global events, and cooperation with the US. He also issued a warm invitation for Milei to visit Ukraine.

Zelensky’s meetings come as Argentina has shown support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s full-scale invasion. In December 2023, Zelensky visited Argentina to attend Milei’s inauguration, and the two leaders held talks in Buenos Aires.

**Ukraine Defense Contact Group**

Argentina has also joined the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, which meets regularly at the Ramstein Airbase in Germany to coordinate military aid for Ukraine. Additionally, Argentina has joined an international coalition for the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.
