A union of workers at Serbia’s state TV (RTS) is unhappy with how student protests are being reported. They want better coverage, or the editor in chief to resign.
The union sent a letter to Nenad Lj Stefanovic, saying that reporting on student protests must be precise and fair. The main evening news should also cover these protests.
The union demands that students be invited to talk shows within three days. If this is not done, they will ask for the editor in chief’s dismissal from his job.
The workers are unhappy with how student protests have been reported so far. They want their concerns heard and changes made.
