Russia – Ukraine War Updates: Situation at the Front Remains Difficult

The situation on the front line in Ukraine remains difficult, with the enemy using its superiority in manpower and equipment to launch relentless attacks on Ukrainian positions. Despite this, Ukrainian defenders are holding their ground and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

In total, 121 clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours, with the enemy launching two missile strikes and 70 air strikes, dropping 90 KABs. They also carried out more than 6,000 attacks, including 151 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,899 kamikaze drones.

The aggressor targeted several areas, including Gremyach, Slavhorod, Seredyna Buda, Muraviya, Buchka, Vovchanski Khutory, Glushkivka, Nadiya, Novoserhiivka, Stupochky, Mayske, Druzhba, Kostyantynivka, Toretsk, and Novoandreivka.

Ukrainian forces responded with 16 air strikes, hitting areas of concentration for enemy personnel, weapons, and equipment. They also targeted control points, warehouses, artillery pieces, and other important enemy objects.

Enemy Attacks in Different Directions

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to break through Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk. In the Kupyansk direction, 10 attacks were made by the invaders, which were repelled by Ukrainian defenders near Dvorichnaya, Petropavlivka, Lozova, Kutkivka, and Novaya Kruglyakivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 13 times, trying to wedge their way into Ukrainian defenses near Kopanky, Terny, and Kolodyazy. In the Siversky direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the Ivano-Daryivka area, with only one attack being repelled.

In other directions, the enemy launched attacks in areas such as Chasiv Yar, Fedorivka, Toretsk, Vodyane Druge, Zelene Pole, Elizavetivka, and Hryshyne. However, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled these attacks in most cases.

Losses of the Enemy

Ukrainian forces inflicted significant losses on the enemy over the past day, with 1,950 soldiers killed or wounded. They also neutralized 11 tanks, 8 armored combat vehicles, 60 artillery systems, and other equipment.
