**Ukraine Hits Russian Targets Overnight**

On January 21, Ukrainian forces launched a series of attacks against key Russian targets. According to Ukraine’s General Staff, the strikes hit an oil depot in Liskinskaya, Russia’s Voronezh Oblast, and a Russian command post in Donetsk Oblast.

The attack on the Liskinskaya oil depot is not the first time it has been targeted by Ukrainian forces. On January 16, a drone strike hit the facility, causing a fire that damaged fuel and lubricant tanks.

**Other Targets Hit**

In addition to the oil depot, Ukrainian forces also struck the Smolensk Aviation Plant in Russia’s Smolensk Oblast. The plant is involved in the production and modernization of Russian military aircraft. Explosions were reported on the facility’s territory, according to the General Staff.

A command post of Russia’s 29th Combined Arms Army was also hit in Donetsk Oblast. The consequences of the strike are being clarified by Ukrainian officials.

**Russia Responds**

In response to the attacks, Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that they had intercepted 55 Ukrainian drones in a large-scale overnight strike. However, Ukraine’s General Staff maintained that their forces were responsible for the successful hits on Russian targets.
