A student assembly at the blockaded Belgrade School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (VISER) reported that one of its students and the school doorman were violently attacked outside the school on Monday evening.

The attackers drew a middle finger silhouette on the school facade before trying to provoke students participating in the blockade. However, the doorman and students acted quickly to stop them. The perpetrators then assaulted the students, saying they would return to “break everyone’s heads”.

The student assembly called on all university faculties, student organizations, and individuals to gather outside their school on Tuesday to demonstrate solidarity with VISER.

Police arrested a 19-year-old man named Z. Lj. on suspicion of violent behavior and destruction of property.

**Students Injured**

A student and the doorman sustained injuries, including bite wounds, during the attack.
