New Georgian President Congratulates Donald Trump
The new President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, has congratulated Donald Trump on his inauguration as the 45th President of the United States.
In a message on social media, Kavelashvili expressed his hopes that US-Georgia relations could improve under Trump’s leadership. He wrote: “I strongly hope that under his leadership, we can take Georgia-U.S. relations to a fundamentally new level.”
Kavelashvili also wished President Trump success in achieving his goals and addressing global challenges.
