US Politician Talks Tough on Georgia’s Ivanishvili
A high-ranking US official is speaking out against the government in Georgia. Joe Wilson, Chairman of the US Helsinki Commission, says new sanctions are coming.
Mr. Wilson was talking about Bidzina Ivanishvili, a powerful businessman and politician in Georgia. He accused Mr. Ivanishvili’s supporters of corruption.
The tweet from Mr. Wilson also mentioned Donald Trump, who is soon to become President of the United States. He said that Mr. Trump will bring new sanctions against those who are corrupt.
