**Eligibility Requirements for Political Parties**

**Two Conditions for Eligibility**
There are two conditions under which a party can be eligible:

If neither condition is met, parties must register their supporters between January 1 and July 14 of the municipal election year.
**Supporter List Requirements**
Parties that do not meet the above conditions will be provided with a sample supporter list. They must submit a list of at least 25,000 voters supporting their participation in the municipal council elections to the CEC within 60 days of receiving the sample list, but no later than August 1.
**CEC’s Role in Verifying Supporter Lists**
The CEC will verify the supporter lists according to Article 38 of the Election Code and provide a report to the CEC chairperson during the election period.
**Application Requirements**
To submit an application, parties must be registered with the National Agency of Public Registry within the last 10 days prior to submitting their application to the CEC. The application should also include an extract from the register indicating the individual(s) authorized to lead or represent the party.
