Georgia Won’t Attend Davos Economic Forum

The government of Georgia will not attend the upcoming Davos Economic Forum. Vice Prime Minister Levan Davitashvili explained why at a press conference.

He said that participation in the forum is usually the government’s decision, and this year it was not seen as a priority. He also mentioned that every time Georgia participated in the past, it was their choice to do so.

Davitashvili stated that despite not attending the Davos Economic Forum, the government will continue to communicate with investors and keep the media informed about new investment decisions.

This means that Georgia won’t be participating in either the Davos Economic Forum or the Munich Security Conference in 2025. The Davos Economic Forum is set to take place from January 20-24.
