**Thousands Protest Outside Serbian State TV**
A large crowd gathered outside the Serbian state TV (RTS) headquarters in Belgrade on Friday evening. The students organized the protest because they were unhappy with how RTS was covering recent events.
The protest started with 15 minutes of silence to remember the 15 people who died in a tragic accident at the Novi Sad train station on November 1.
**Students Demand Answers**
The students read out their demands, including:
* All documents about the reconstruction of the Novi Sad train station should be released.
* Charges against students arrested during protests should be dropped.
* Those who hurt protesting students and professors should be punished.
* The government should give universities more money (20% increase).
**A Symbolic Gift**
The students gave RTS Director Dragan Bujosevic a big sandwich with 71 candles. They also read out a letter of support from some of the people working at RTS.
“We’re here because we don’t get information,” said a student from the Faculty of Philosophy. “The public should know what’s happening in Serbia.”
**Peaceful Protest**
RTS had camera crews at the scene and reported on the protest. They even interviewed a protester live on air. The crowd was peaceful, with no incidents reported.
**Support from RTS Workers**
A banner saying “RTS Workers Stand with Students” appeared on the RTS building. The crowd cheered in response, chanting “Thank you for your support.”
