European Parliament to Debate Georgia’s Political Situation
Next week, the European Parliament will hold a debate about the current situation in Georgia. This was announced by the European Parliament’s press service.
The topic of discussion will be the “political turmoil in Georgia and the ongoing repression in Belarus”. The European Parliament will also vote on a resolution related to Belarus.
Separately, journalist Rikard Jozwiak has reported that the European Parliament plans to hold a debate about Georgia on January 21. A vote on a resolution related to Georgia is scheduled for the first sitting of the February session.
