**US Congressman Slams Georgian Government**
A US politician has spoken out against the government of Georgia. Congressman Joe Wilson, who heads a special commission on Europe and human rights, says the current leaders are not legitimate.
The Georgian Dream party is in power. However, many people, including some European lawmakers, do not think they are fair or honest rulers.
In a tweet, Congressman Wilson praised a statement from the Chairman of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee. David McAllister said that neither the government nor its president should be recognized by Europe.
Congressman Wilson agreed with Mr. McAllister and called for new elections in Georgia to choose a better leader.
