US Congressman Joe Wilson met with former President Donald Trump.
Wilson is the Chairman of the US Helsinki Commission, a group that looks out for human rights and freedom in Europe. He wrote on his social media account about what he talked to Trump about.
Congressman Wilson told Trump about the Georgian government’s actions against freedom. He also mentioned the country’s deals with China and Iran. These countries had planned to kill him, said Wilson.
Wilson shared a letter called “Friends of Georgia” with Trump. The letter is from people who support Georgia and want it to be free and democratic.
