Mikheil Kavelashvili Visits Georgia’s Top Church Leader
A special visit was made to the top leader of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Mikheil Kavelashvili, a high-ranking government official, went with his family.
The church’s press office announced this meeting. They said that the leader of the church, Ilia II, gave Mr. Kavelashvili a special blessing and an icon as a gift. He also wished him success in his work as president.
