Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of Strategy Aghmashenebeli, spoke to journalists before meeting with President Salome Zurabishvili. He called the current situation a “constitutional coup”.
Vashadze said that he is ready to take responsibility for any decision supported by the people. He wants to work within a collective framework and ensure that decisions are implemented.
The only legitimate power, according to Vashadze, is President Zurabishvili. He is willing to take responsibility before the people for implementing her decisions.
Vashadze emphasized the importance of unity. Any decision made must be followed by everyone without condition. He believes that firm and decisive actions are needed, such as calling elections or dissolving Parliament.
