**President Pardons 9 Convicts**
The President of Georgia has pardoned nine people who were serving prison sentences. This was announced by the Presidential Administration in a statement.
Five of these convicts will now be completely free from their remaining jail time. The other four had their prison terms cut short, including one woman.
