Shooting in Abkhazia Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

A Telegram channel reported that there was an argument between Kharazia and another council member before the shooting occurred. They were discussing a bill about banning mining in the region.

Abkhazia is a Russian-occupied area after a war with Tbilisi in 2008. Russia supports the local government, but both Abkhazia and South Ossetia are recognized as part of Georgia internationally.
