President Meets Protesters Near Palace
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili met with protesters near the Orbeliani Palace. The protesters, from arts, restoration, and IT sectors, had marched to the palace.
The crowd applauded when they saw the president arrive. They said she was Georgia’s only legitimate leader. They thanked her for her work in the country.
The protesters did not get any answers from the president about their concerns. They will now move to Freedom Square and join another protest at Parliament. That protest has been going on for 18 days.
