**French President Speaks Out Against Violence in Georgia**

Emmanuel Macron’s government is talking to Georgian politician Ivanishvili. The president is criticizing the way some people are being treated.

Macron says it’s not right for security forces to scare people and the opposition, or to hurt peaceful protesters and journalists. He also wants people who have been arrested to be released.

This comes as tensions rise in Georgia.
